Many Latin@ and LGBTQ survivors of intimate partner violence face difficult barriers when accessing services. Similarly, individuals living with HIV/AIDS also encounter societal stigma and structural challenges that place them at the margins. Casa de Esperanza: National Latin@ Network recognizes that those living at intersecting identities and realities, such as TransLatin@ survivors of intimate partner violence living with HIV/AIDS, often encounter isolation and lack of understanding from the part of service providers.
